From the desk of Ari Levitas – co-creator of the Go Visit Israel website www.govisitisrael.com.

Welcome to our website Go Visit Israel that was created as a summer project in 2008 by my younger brother Ben and me. We moved to Israel in July 2000 (when I was 9 and my brother was 6) from Baltimore Maryland and now live in Beit Shemesh, Israel. We thought that our website Go Visit Israel would be an interesting and useful website for people visiting Israel to be able to quickly find Places to Tour in Israel, Places to Visit, Places to Eat, Places to Stay and Places to Volunteer. 
 

While we launched the Go Visit Israel website August 1, 2008, we continue to add new links and content for places to tour in Israel and places to visit, eat, stay and volunteer in Israel. 

During our Pesach break 2009, my brother and I added new features to the website that include: pictures of places to visit, links to YouTube videos. We hope that you enjoy our selections. We also added more cities and grouped cities into regions for easier navigation.  We are planning our next major update to the website during our summer 2009 break.
