The Tel Aviv-Yafo Centennial Year opened officially with the biggest free concert in Israel history. Hundres of thousands poured on Saturday April 4 to Rabin Square, where the Centennial Celebrations commenced in a unique music and projections extravaganza.

The Israel Philharmonic Orchestra, conducted by Zubin Mheta, opened the event and Mayor Ron Huldai lit a birthday cake with 100 candles.

Tel Aviv-Jafa invites you to join thousands of runners to attend the Tel Aviv Marathon (42.195K , 10K or 5K race). The event will be held as part of the 100 anniversary celebrations of the economic, cultural and academic capital of Israel.

A 42 kilometer race along the city's major thoroughfares is expected to attract thousands of professional and amateur runners from Israel and abroad, who will be cheered on by scores of spectators. Apart from the standard course, there will be additional 5 and 10 kilometer courses for the public at large. 

Tel Aviv's Nahalat Binyamin Arts and Crafts - Open All of Pesach
A festival of arts, crafts, pottery, and street performances, Nachalat Binyamin offers a pleasant stroll and some pretty bits and pieces, vendors display their merchandise on little tables along the paved part of Nachalat Binyamin St. 
Besides the shopping there are street performances by artists and clowns at the fair..

Dorola Circus
The show has more than 50 performers from across the globe - including Italy, Russia, France, Africa, and North America to take part in this exciting and energizing production. Dorola combines special effects, pyrotechnics, and acrobatic feats. The Israeli shows are the circus company's world premiere.
