The Isaak Kaplan Old Yishuv Court Museum, documenting a world no longer existing: the old Jewish settlement which lived inside the old city walls for 500 years, before the city was occupied by the Jordanians. From the many Items, the story of its past owners comes to life: stories of marriage and birth, happy and sad times, everyday coping with life's difficulties, being satisfied with little and believing in the almighty.
  
Both temporary and permanent exhibits are on display in the museum.
In addition, it offers tours ,lectures, workshops and special programs.

    
Open hours:
March-November:
Sunday - Thursday: 10:00-17:00
Friday: 10:00-13:00. 

December-February:
Sunday-Thursday: 10:00-15:00
Friday: 10:00-13:00.
    
Location:
The museum is located in the Jewish Quarter of the Old City of Jerusalem. It is recommended to get by public transportation to Jaffa Gate (train) or Zion Gate (line 38) or to the Western Wall (line 1,3) and then a sort walk to the museum.

From Jaffa Gate: through the S.t James passageway and west to Or Hachaim st.
 
From Zion Gate or from the Jewish Quarter bus stop : walk down Chabad street to the corner of Or Hachaim street and turn left.
